As part the Acting president’s tour of the oil bearing communities in the Niger Delta,His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, today visited Ohaji/Egbema in Imo State to inspect Federal government projects, especially those that were abandoned.

The Skills Acquisition Centre in Abaezi Egbema abandoned by NDDC and the Egbema power plant abandoned by the Federal Government were projects visited.

The Acting president after the tour assured the people that all the contractors who abandoned their projects would be mandated to return to site and also promised to look into the request made by the people to convert the abandoned Skills Acquisition Centre into the proposed Niger Delta University of Science and Technology.
