Daily Post reports that the Nigeria Police Force, Jigawa State Command has arrested 23 years old suspected fraudster, Shafi’u Musa who have been defrauding people with counterfeit United States of America Dollars (USD).

Spokesman of the Command, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam stated this in a press statement issued to DAILY POST.

He said the suspect was arrested yesterday in Gwaram Local Government after defrauding, Yusuf Adamu.

“The Suspect deceitfully exchanged two notes of hundred (100) American dollars to his victim at the rate of one hundred and forty thousand naira which eventually discovered to be fake”

He said after the police received the report, detectives swung into action and succeeded in arresting the suspect.

Shiisu said during the course of an investigation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the offence.

He said more exhibits were recovered in his possession and the Investigation is still ongoing after which will be charged to court.
