According to Joe Igbokwe, a Special Adviser for Drainage & Water Resources to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, people of the south-east will continue to lose out for not choosing to move beyond politics and connecting to the centre.

He stated this in reaction to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate, Charles Soludo leading in the Anambra governorship election conducted on November 6.

Igbokwe, in a post on his Facebook page also said that he felt that Igbos would have moved past ethnic politics and work to connect to the center to meet other Nigerians.

The APC chieftain wrote; ”I had thought that igbo will move beyond ethnic politics and work to connect to the center to meet other Nigerians but ife ji ndigbo jisi ha ike. we will continue to be onlookers.”
