The accident was reported to have happened in Awka, the state capital, leaving some of the officers seriously injured.

Some police officers have been involved in an accident while on their way to provide security for the Anambra State Governorship election. 

The police officers are said to be from Lagos State. 

It was gathered that the security operatives attached to the Isolo division of the command, were involved in the accident while returning to Lagos State.
