Newcastle have rejected the chance to sign Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli – according to Football Insider.

Eddie Howe was offered the 25-year-old ahead of the January transfer window, with Spurs happy to sell so that he can play regular football elsewhere.

However, Newcastle won’t be signing Alli because Howe is more concerned with strengthening in other areas of the pitch.
