Gombe United winger, Yusuf Abdulazeez, was in excellent form on Monday evening during their 3-0 thrashing of Lobi Stars in the Nigeria topflight division matchday four.

A second half brace from Abdulazeez and an own goal from Lobi Stars man, Onyebuchi Onyeka secured all maximum points for the host side as they climb to 10th position on the log, just one point separating them from sixth (Wikki Tourist), 7th (Nasarawa United), 8th (Plateau United) and 9th (Enyimba FC) placed sides.

Reacting during a post-game interview with Lodgexpress, Abdulazeez said;

“I feel so great and delighted with the two goals. It is surely a good way for me to start the new year and I look forward to scoring more goals this season.”

The in-form winger has now taken his tally this season to three goals in just all four appearances and will be in action this week when they pay a visit to struggling side, Katsina United on Sunday.
