People of Nguru town, headquarters of Nguru Local Government Area of Yobe State were thrown into pandemonium when they woke up with a fire inferno at the Central market.

Nguru, an ancient town is one of the commercial hub of the state with commercial activities due to the presence of rail line that connects the town with Kano and other parts of the country.

Audu Yaro, information officer, Nguru Local Government Area confirmed the incident.
