Andrew Ikefe hails ‘wonderful’ Plateau United team-mates after 5-0 Dakkada thumping.
Plateau United centre-back, Andrew Ikefe hailed their ‘team performance’ after winning 5-0 against Dakkada Football Club in matchday 6 in Jos on Sunday, January 16.

The Jos outfit produced some wonderful football for the thumping victory. A strike from Reuben Bala Yakubu and a combined double strikes from Akila Jesse Jidima and Sunday Anthony, were all that Plateau United needed to crush Dakkada Football Club.
Ikefe told Lodgexpress:
“Our performance all through the 90 minutes was very important; I Thank God for making it easy for us. It was a very nice game and the result delights me and I can’t hide the delight I felt while watching the way my colleagues dealt with them.”

Ikefe was absent during the game after returning from a foot injury he sustained during their match against Kwara United.
On Plateau United now sitting 6th on the log, Ikefe added:
“I have strong believe in the team, we believe in our developmental processes but also must keep taking confidence in our subsequent games.
“I think we have now sent a message to other teams and they will want to put in extra efforts when they play us, which is why we must prepare, continue improving and show big commitment in the games ahead.”
