She also claimed that these men are usually unwilling to support the female medics because they believe such women have money.

“A woman took to Twitter to lament about how Nigerian female medical practitioners are not genuinely loved for who they are but due to their profession.

She said that once a woman tells a Nigerian man that she’s a doctor or a nurse, the man immediately brings up marriage to them.

She also claimed that these men are usually unwilling to support the female medics because they believe such women have money.

She then reshared tweet stating that men drive around the Lagos University Teaching Hospital in search of female medics.
