The labourer came home unannounced and caught them in the act before killing the deceased with a rock.

“A 48-year-old man, Samuel Musungu, has been arrested by the Kenyan police for allegedly killing a man he caught in his matrimonial bed with his wife in Githogoro informal settlement.

 According to police, the casual labourer in Runda had returned home unannounced, only to find the deceased in the act with his wife.

“In a fit of rage, Musungu reached for a piece of rock and hit the 40-year-old man at the back of his head, killing him on the spot,” police said in a statement.

Nyumba Kumi elders rushed to the scene but could not save the life of Nashon Mudovi, 40.

“It’s something out of a horror movie. It’s horrible. It’s a nightmare,” Nyumba Kumi Chairman Richard Wamalwa told police.

The suspect is currently being processed to answer to charges of murder contrary to Section 203 as read with Section 204 of the Penal Code.
