Dutch giants Ajax, Laliga side Real Betis, Enyimba and NFF have sent birthday greetings to former Nigeria international Finidi George who turned 51 on Friday.
The three football clubs and NFF sent their birthday wishes via their Twitter handles.
Ajax wrote: “Happy birthday, Finidiiii! 🎩“
According to Betis:“What a player… Have a great birthday, Finidi! 🕯🥳”
Celebrating Finidi, the NFF stated:“Happy birthday Coach George Finidi. We wish you all the best today and always.”
While Enyimba described the former winger as a legend.
“The Legend celebrates today 🎂
“Happy 51st, Finito 🎉“
Finidi joined Ajax in 1993 from Sharks and went on to win the 1995 UEFA Champions League.
He won three league titles at Ajax, UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup.
He was a member of the Super Eagles squad that won the 1994 AFCON and featured at the World Cup the same year.
He is currently the head coach of Nigeria Professional Football League Enyimba.
