Emmanuel Lucky bagged a brace, while Ayo Adejubu scored the other goal.

Adam Yakubu put Akwa United ahead on 16 minutes, while Abdulazeez Yusuf equalised for the hosts eight minutes before the break.

Andy Okpe opened scoring for Remo Stars four minutes after the break.
