Nollywood actress/producer, Toyin Abraham has said that leaving an abusive marriage is difficult but it is better to walk away and be alive.

The mother of one said this in a recent Instagram post while lamenting the recent cases of domestic violence.

“Too many domestic violence stories. Oluwa Mo dupe temi. God please clean tears from my fellow women.”

In another post, Toyin Abraham wrote: “Leaving marriage is not easy at all at all but it’s better you leave so you can live.”

This came after gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu died over alleged domestic abuse against her by her husband Peter Nwachukwu.

Peter, however, denied hitting his wife.

Toyin was previously married to fellow actor Adeniyi Johnson.

Toyin is now married to actor Kolawole Ajeyemi, they have a son together.
