Patrick Vieira has avoided a police charge following his altercation with an Everton fan last week.

The Crystal Palace boss was caught on video kicking out an Everton supporter who provoked him shortly after a pitch invasion.

The supporter is said to have goaded and insulted the Arsenal legend as he recorded the ugly incident on his phone.

The police said the decision not to charge the Premier League manager came after no one made a formal complaint against him.
