Two things usually come to mind when most people think of brooches- their grandmothers or jewellery for holding clothes closed.

However, the brooch has a lot of potential that yield great fashion points when done right

So how do you wear a brooch and still manage to look stylish?
Here’s how.

1.Size matters:
Find the perfect balance in brooch size.

If it’s too big, it will draw attention away from your face. Too small and people won’t notice it.

2.Weight Matters too:

Pair a thin dress with a light brooch. Attaching a heavy brooch to a thin dress will lead to saggy creases. It would also leave unsightly, gaping holes in your outfit.

3. Occasion Matters:

There are different types of brooches- thesimpleones, thecolorfulones, theelaborateones… Wear each type according to the occasion. Wearing a loud elaborate brooch to a conservative workplace is a no no.
