Forget Social Media Drama, Wait For Your Time – Melaye Tells Peter Obi, Nigerians React

A former lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye has told Peter Obi of Labour Party to put aside his presidential ambition.

According to Melaye, it is not Obi’s time.

Melaye made the appeal in a video clip shared on his Facebook page on Friday.

The former lawmaker said while Obi was indeed a good product, the time was not right for him to actualise his presidential ambition, adding that the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, fits the bill more.

“I have listened to your postulations, arguments, deliveries, and campaigns and I can say 90 percent of your campaigns are dwelling on reducing the cost of governance.

“… forget social media drama and wait for the right time,” Melaye said.

However, Nigerians didn’t like his advice and have tackled him seriously.
