Former Liverpool goalkeeper, Pepe Reina is on his way back to LaLiga Santander.

This is after many years away from the Spanish top flight. The veteran goalkeeper is expected to join his former club, Villarreal.

The former Spain International will turn 40 years of age during the 2022/23 season.

Meanwhile, former Sevilla striker Luuk de Jong has left LaLiga Santander.

The Dutch striker, who played at Barcelona last season on loan from Sevilla, has moved back to PSV Eindhoven.

And in a similar development, Arsenal and Manchester United flop and Henrikh Mkhitaryan left Roma.

He said goodbye to Roma on Saturday and has officially joined Inter and his signing has been announced by the Milan-based club.
