Former Aston Villa captain, Gabby Agbonlahor, has hailed Arsenal’s summer new recruit as the next Thierry Henry and Ian Wright of the Gunners.

Agbonlahor believes Jesus can be Arsenal’s latest talisman after Wright and Henry, adding that he would score at least 15 goals for Mikel Arteta’s side this season.

Arsenal recently signed Jesus from Premier League champions Arsenal.

The Brazilian international was impressive during Arsenal’s pre-season matches scoring seven goals in five appearances.

“He [Jesus] will get at least 15 Premier League goals, guaranteed. That’s huge and what Arsenal have been missing,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.

“Over the years, they have had Ian Wright, Thierry Henry, now this is the next one for Arsenal.

“I’m sure he will be on penalties, he will be on everything, he will be the talisman.”
