Twitter User Says That Nigerians See Local gods As Evil But Adore Their Foreign Counterpart

A Twitter user has taken to the microblogging platform to lament about Nigerians seeing local gods as evil and would not want to be associated with them but love their foreign counterparts.

The tweet stated that Nigerians are afraid of Yemoja but love little mermaid, they also refer to Sango (god of thunder) as evil and admire Thor as a hero.

In the concluding part of his tweet after comparing foreign movie characters to local gods, @ayomitidipupo claimed that Nigerians have been indoctrinated to hate themselves and love their enslavers.

The tweet read;

”Nigerians are scared of Yemoja but love little Mermaid. They say Sango is evil but Thor is their Hero. They adore storm but don’t want nothing to do with Oya. They are in love with Aquaman but hate Olokun We have been indoctrinated to hate ourselves and love our enslavers”.
