Serie A newcomers, Cremonese have announced the arrival of Cyriel Dessers from Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk.
The Grigiorossi parted with €6.5m to sign the talented striker.
Dessers joins another Nigerian, David Okereke at the club.
Genk were keen to keep the Nigerian international at the club but he was determined to leave the Smurfs.
The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at Eredivisie club, Feyenoord Rotterdam but the club failed to take up the option to sign him on a permanent deal despite his impressive scoring form.
Dessers scored 20 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions for Arne Slot’s side.
The striker joined Genk from Heracles Almelo in 2020.
He boasts 43 appearances and 11 goals for Genk.
