Obi was introduced as a man of noble character before getting a standing ovation from the audience.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi was on Sunday given a standing ovation after being introduced at the Methodist Church Conference 2022.

The conference held in Benue state on Sunday.

The former Governor of Anambra State was introduced as a great Nigerian with integrity per excellence and of noble character.

The audience received him with great cheer and a standing ovation.

Obi, who was sitting with members of the church, was brought to the altar, while the instrumentalist played ‘stand up, stand up for the champion, stand up.

The presidential candidate was charged to say ‘worthy, worthy is the lamb’ as a member of Methodist, which he said.

The outgoing Prelate of Methodist Church Nigeria, Samuel Chukwuemeka Uche prayed for the Labour Party presidential candidate.
