Gunmen Attack, Disarm NSCDC Personnel In Enugu

Unknown gunmen have attacked two personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Enugu.

The incident happened on Sunday, at the WTC housing estate in the Ogui New layout area of the state.

The attack reportedly left the personnel injured, with the hoodlums making away with their guns.

The officials who sustained injuries were later taken to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.

Public Relations Officer of the Civil Defence Corps, Enugu Command, Denny Manuel Iwuchukwu, confirmed the incident took place, adding that the personnel injured in the attack are currently hospitalized.
