We Will Not Sit Back And Watch Citizens Killed By Law Officers That Is Supposed To Protect Them – Gov Sanwo-Olu Reacts After Lawyer Was Killed By Policeman

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state has reacted to the death of a lawyer and real estate agent reportedly killed by a trigger-happy police officer on Christmas day.

The governor stated that he would make sure the police officer would be prosecuted and justice would be served speedily.
 
Bolanle Raheem was out with her family on Christmas day when a policeman stopped their car and, before they could park, he fired his gun, hitting the lawyer in the presence of her loved ones.

Reacting, Sanwo-Olu sympathised with Bolanle’s family and friends.
