Popular Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata aka Teni has revealed why she embarked on an intensive workout to reduce her weight.

This comes after she transformed her body.

The singer in her new year message released in the early hours of Sunday, January 1 revealed that the desire to live made her take the decision.

According to her, she had always eaten anything she wanted to eat.

She stated that her weight began to tell on her health, leaving her with no option than to do something in order not to die.

“I realized you only have one life. Me, I don’t want to die. If you need inspiration, look at me.

“Impossible is nothing!! Happy new year 23,” she said.
