Peter Obi is applauded by the passengers of an aircraft as he flies economy alongside his wife, Margaret Brownson Obi and his campaign team.

The Labour Party’s presidential candidate melts the heart of many as he shares the same economy-class aircraft with fellow passengers.

The politician has always received accolades for his humility but was confirmed first-hand by other passengers who took turns hailing him.

The video, however, sparked mixed reactions from netizens who called it a political stunt while others applauded it for being noble.

“Was he flying economy before now? all in the name of election , anyways I pray he will continue like this after he is in power. Naso them dey do,” a social media user wrote in reaction.

Another user added, “A lot making noise here about Mr Obi flying on economy. Whether it’s real or because of the election, he’s still the best presidential candidate yet.”
