She revealed that she saved up £315K as her exit fund from marriage in case her husband left her.

Amidst the rising numbers of divorce cases, a woman took to social media to reveal the length she went to give herself a plan B.

According to her in a tweet, the idea of saving up an exit fund from her marriage was her mother’s idea.

“When I got married my mother told me to save for an exit fund should the marriage fail; I have now been married 49 years. The ‘exit’ fund now stands at 315K. My husband has no idea,” she wrote.

Her narration, however, triggered reactions from many who considered it as smart while others called it desperate even after 49 years of marriage.
