The party’s candidate, Chidi Mark Obetta was returned as winner of Saturday’s National Assembly election.

Labour Party has won the Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South federal constituency in Enugu state.

INEC announced Labour party’s candidate, Chidi Mark Obetta as winner of Saturday’s National Assembly election.

The Returning officer, Prof Romanus Eze declared the results.

He said Chidi Obetta scored a total of 50,881 vote to defeat his closest rival, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Chief Vita Abba who polled 19, 347 votes.
