A graphic video of the incident has been circulating online, but it has been blurred to protect the victim’s identity. The video shows Lopez entering the store and approaching Smith. Lopez then raises the battle axe and strikes Smith in the head multiple times. Smith falls to the ground, and Lopez continues to strike him until he is no longer moving.
