“On Monday I lost my dearest sweet cousin sister, still in the pains of her loss, ‘got a call that Hawtie @damolaolatunji was detained … was on the road till 1 midnight… woke up back to it … the hullabaloo is indescribable… but in all, we say thank YOU BABA.

“On behalf @damolaolatunji, myself and the entire family, we extend our immense gratitude to all, friends, fans and family… special gratitude to all our colleagues, great TAMPAN FAMILY, TGD , the TAMPAN president, Excos for the massive support, we feel so loved and honored. Damola was arrested by the police after confronting some officers at Abule Egba, accusing them of extortion and harassment.

According to the police, the movie star was arrested for alleged incitement and assault of police officers.
