Actress Nkechi Blessing reacts to trend of body-shaming women who undergo cosmetic surgery

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has shared her thoughts on the growing conversations around body image and cosmetic surgery.

In a video posted on Instagram, the actress said she has been seeing many men encouraging women to “love themselves the way they are,” while the same people often bully women online over their bodies.

According to her, the constant insults and pressure from the public are part of what pushes some women to consider changing their bodies.

She stated that no amount of bullying or insults would make her rush into any cosmetic procedure that she doesn’t personally want.

Nkechi Blessing also spoke proudly about her body, saying her stomach represents her journey and achievements.

She added that if she were ever to consider surgery, it would only be weight-loss surgery, not procedures meant to alter her body shape.

The actress also advised young women who follow her to make decisions about their bodies based on what they truly want, not because of pressure from people online.
