Adamawa governor defects to APC

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC. 

The governor said on Friday, February 27, that he defected with his entire cabinet and all the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, officials. 

He said his defection was for the developmental interest of the people of Adamawa State. 

This comes after Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefa, Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf, and Plateau State Governor Caleb Muftwang all recently joined the ruling party.
