Akeredolu’s Homecoming Demonstrates Strength and Resilience, Says Interior Minister

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has commended the return of Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu following his medical vacation abroad, describing it as a testament to the governor’s strength and resilience.

Governor Akeredolu had traveled to Germany for medical treatment but returned to Nigeria on Thursday. He held a stakeholders meeting with political leaders and members of his Executive Council at his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday. Subsequently, he officially resumed duty after notifying the state House of Assembly.

Minister Tunji-Ojo, in a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Alao Babatunde, expressed a warm welcome to the governor upon his return. He emphasized that Akeredolu’s comeback not only showcased his strength and resilience, admired by many, but also underscored God’s faithfulness.

Tunji-Ojo extended his heartfelt gratitude to the governor for his unwavering commitment to Ondo State’s well-being and progress, which has been a source of inspiration to the people. He expressed joy on behalf of the citizens who eagerly awaited the governor’s return.

The Minister praised Akeredolu’s leadership and dedication to the state and expressed optimism that Ondo State would continue to witness development and prosperity under his guidance. He concluded by offering prayers for the governor’s successful resumption of duties and the state’s progress under his leadership.
