Another Explosion Hits Jalingo, Scores Injured

According to a report by The PUNCH, scores of people, mostly women and children, are said to have been injured in an explosion in the Nukkai area of Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.

Local sources said the explosion happened at a bar behind the old Catholic Church in Nukkai at about 8:16 pm.

This is coming three days after a bomb blast killed six people and injured many according to security sources at Iware, a local market 22 kilometres away from Jalingo.

Police could not be reached for confirmation as at the time of filing this report.
