Another Nigerian Viv Efosa Solomon-Otabor opts to play for Super Eagles ahead of England national team after he commits international future to the three-time African Champions.

The 23-year-old was born in London to parents originally from Edo state and has roots to former Nigeria international Thompson Oliha, who is his uncle, while Victor-Banks Otabor, his father, played for Bendel Insurance before moving to the United Kingdom.Solomon-Otabor was offered a chance to play for the England U-21 team in 2018 by Aidy Boothroyd for the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Andorra and Scotland but the winger declined the opportunity.The CSKA Sofia star declared his readiness to represent Super Eagles and defend the colors 

“I don’t take decision alone. I have discussed with my parents if the Nigeria Football Federation contacts me to play. But for now, I am ready. My parents want me to represent Nigeria and that is what I will do.””I want to be a patriotic and a committed footballer who will never turn his back on the nation when given the opportunity to play for the good people of Nigeria.
