Fabio Vieira of FC Porto is now on the verge of making a move to Premier League side Arsenal as those in charge of the Gunners are said to have agreed deal with the Portuguese club.
After the end of last Premier League season in which the Gunners failed to qualify for the Champions League, manager Mikel Arteta is planning to bolster his squad most especially in the midfield.
According to the reports on Cannon and Express, Arsenal chiefs want Fabio Vieira at the Emirates stadium and the player will be traveling to London.
The player’s release clause stands at £36million but as per Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal’s promising proposal is worth around £29m plus add-ons.
Arsenal Star Launches Scathing Attack on Fiorentina Board After Ending Loan Spell With Serie A Club.
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Arsenal midfielder, Lucas Torreira is hugely disappointed with Fiorentina after ending his loan spell with the Serie A club this summer.
The Uruguayan midfielder returned to Arsenal after a season-long loan with the Italian club as the Serie A side failed to meet up with their initial agreement with the Gunners to sign Torreira permanently.
Fiorentina had inserted a clause in the loan deal that meant that they could sign the 26-year-old midfielder for £12.5million after his loan spell but tried to negotiate a deal far lesser for the player.
The move has now prompted Torreira to hit out at the Serie A club in his farewell post on social media as he returns to Arsenal.
