Arsenal star, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named Premier League Player of the Month for October, becoming the first Gunners player to land such an award since Olivier Giroud in March 2015.

The Gabonese striker was on fire in front of goal, recording five strikes and one assist in just three league outings.

Aubameyang is in his first full season at Arsenal after arriving from Borussia Dortmund in January and the forward has played a key role in the club’s strong start to the campaign.

He is currently the joint-top goalscorer in the league with seven efforts to his name alongside Chelsea star Eden Hazard and Manchester City talisman Sergio Aguero.

And Aubameyang also had a hand in another award as Arsenal team-mate Aaron Ramsey scooped the Goal of the Month gong.
