Arsenal have made it known to Lyon that they hold an interest in completing a deal to sign their striker Moussa Dembele, according to Le10Sport.

The 23-year-old is widely viewed as one of Europe’s brightest young talents and he won’t come cheap to any interested party.

Lyon are thought to value their talisman at £73 million and it seems almost certain that Arsenal would have to sell in order to get their man.

Dembele would be an adequate replacement for the current captain. In 47 games in all competitions during 2019/20 he has found the net on 25 occasions, registering seven assists too.
