“As e dey pain them, e dey sweet me” – 36-year-old newlywed Nigerian woman hits back at critics as her 65-year-old husband surprises her new with car

A 36-year-old newly married Benue woman, Kpamkwase Atsenda, was overjoyed after her 65-year-old husband Chief Atsenda Ishwa, gifted her a Toyota car. 

The couple got married a week ago in Benue State. 

Chief Ishwa, who is the national president of the Ior-Jemgbagh Development Association, presented the new car to Kpamkwase on October 1st during Nigeria’s Independence Day celebration.

The Gboko-based businesswoman took to Facebook to express her joy and gratitude to her husband, describing him as “a father, uncle, and husband in one.”

“My first gift from my husband as his wife. God I asked you for a husband and you gave me three in one, you gave me a father, uncle and husband. Sometimes I ask God if I am his only child? A prayer for my beloved husband. May the good Lord keep protecting you and add more years to your years on this earth ijn. And for those who are killing themselves over my choice of husband, na die remain for una, as e the pain them. E d sweet me. Once again love you so much my Godsend husband,” she wrote.
