Assailants stab man to death in presence of his mother and son in Kogi

A 50-year-old man, identified as Musa Kimono, was reportedly k!lled by unidentified assailants at his residence in the Oketecheje area of Idah Local Government Area, Kogi State.

According to Daily Trust, The incident occurred late Thursday night, February 12, when armed men invaded his home.

Kimono was st@bbed to d3ath in the presence of his mother and son. 

A family member, who identified himself only as Ogwuche, reported that the assassins shot the victim multiple times and st@bbed him repeatedly, leaving him to bl££d to d£ath.

“Three unidentified armed men arrived on motorcycles and invaded the house,” Ogwuche said.

“He was discussing with his mother and son when they stormed in. They sh0t and st@bbed him several times. Kimono bled to d£ath before help could arrive.”

Igwuche added that the victim’s mother watched helplessly as her son struggled.

“She pleaded with the assassins to spare his life, but they refused. It was her cries for help that eventually alerted the neighbors. However, by the time help arrived, he had passed away, and the gunmen had fled on their motorcycles to an unknown destination.”

A family source noted that the matter was reported to the police, and Kimono’s body was evacuated to a local hospital morgue

A police source in Idah confirmed that the matter is under investigation to uncover the identity of the k!llers.
