An autopsy result has revealed the  circumstances surrounding death of Afrofuji singer, Destiny Boy.

‎It would be recalled that the singer, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 22.

‎According to Daily Trust, the autopsy report revealed harmful levels of tramadol and its metabolites.

‎However, the singer’s death stemmed from pneumonitis due to consuming toxic substances.

Destiny Boy’s mother breaks silence on his passing

‎Meanwhile, Destiny Boy’s mother, Saida, has broken her silence on his passing, revealing that he died from a mysterious illness called “Ogu Oru” which caused seizures.

‎The singer’s mother explained that the family had been managing his condition with traditional healers and clerics, and he was booked for a performance on the day he passed away.

‎However, Saida denied rumors of her son being involved in money rituals, stating they’re just seeking attention from his death.

Meanwhile, Destiny Boy’s sister has finally spoken out about the controversy surrounding his death, defending their mother against allegations of cursing him.

In a viral audio, their mother was heard speaking harshly to Destiny Boy before his passing, sparking outrage and speculation about her involvement in his death.

However, his sister explained that the audio was taken out of context and that their mother was only speaking out of concern as a parent.
