Auxiliary nurse who injected Mohbad is a prime suspect in singer’s death, says police(video)

According to The Cable News, the Lagos State Police Force has identified the auxiliary nurse who administered an injection to Mohbad as the prime suspect in the singer’s death.

This development was disclosed by Idowu Owohunwa, the Lagos State Police Commissioner, during a press briefing on Friday afternoon.

The investigation into Mohbad‘s death, which occurred on September 12, 2023, after he received an injection from an unnamed nurse, has raised questions regarding the circumstances of his passing.

In response to public outrage and demands for a thorough investigation, the police established a 19-member committee to conduct a discreet inquiry, covering aspects such as exhumation, autopsy, scene inspection, medical reports, records of suspects, and witness statements.

The Lagos State Police Command had already apprehended the nurse who provided treatment to Mohbad, who was rumored to have sustained injuries, prompting him to seek nursing services at home.

Mohbad’s father, James Aloba, voiced suspicions about the auxiliary nurse who administered the injection, suggesting that it may have contributed to his son’s deteriorating health.

Furthermore, the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Lagos State Council, called for a thorough investigation into Mohbad’s death and clarified that the individual who administered the injection was not a registered nurse.
