Mario Balotelli is in talks with Italian third tier side Como on a possible move, according to reports.

The former Inter Milan and Manchester City forward is set to leave relegated Brescia this summer.

“There’s been some contact between the two parties,” Como CEO Michael Gandler told La Provincia di Como. “His representatives sat down to listen to us. I can’t say any more than that…”

Despite finishing 13th in Serie C, Como are owned by businessman Robert Budi Hartono, who is one of the two richest people in Indonesia with a net worth of $18.2bn.

In an exclusive interview with Football Italia back in May, Gandler spoke of the big plans Hartono had for the northern minnows.

Balotelli, for his part, has not played since lockdown was lifted following a complete breakdown in his relationship with the Rondinelle.
