Sergio Ramos scored his 100th Los Blancos goal in 656 appearances for Real Madrid in the 3-1 away win over arch-rival Barcelona in the La Liga encounter at Now Camp.

The La Liga giants faced off at a supporter-less Camp Nou, and it didn’t take long for a breakthrough to be made.

After just six minutes, Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde fired the visitors in front, Zinedine Zidane’s continued faith in him justified as he latched onto Karim Benzema’s clever through the pass and fired into the roof of the net.

However, just four minutes later, Barcelona’s own wonderkid, Ansu Fati levelled for the hosts.

Lionel Messi clipped a delicious ball down the left for Jordi Alba, who cut back into the centre from where Fati, given the start ahead of Antoine Griezmann, turned home.

Sergio Ramos scored from the spot after he was fouled by Clement Lenglet and Luka Modric smashed in a late third.

The result takes Real Madrid top of the fledgling La Liga table with 13 points from six games, six points above Barcelona.
