Following up last night’s reveal of the Barcelona home shirt design for next season, we can reveal that the FC Barcelona 2020-21 away uniform will be black.

The Nike FC Barcelona 2020-21 away shirt will be predominantly black, paired with metallic-gold for logos and trim. It remains to be seen whether Nike will use the full-color Barcelona crest or go with a black and gold one.

A monochrome badge was used on many of the Barcelona concept shirts that were created using black and gold. Lots of these attracted much attention and gained lots of positive feedback, possibly inspiring Nike to also do this.

It also brings back memories of the 2013-14 and 2011-12 away shirts, which were popular with the club’s fans despite limited on-pitch success.

Unfortunately, no design specifics of the FC Barcelona 20-21 away shirt are known as of yet.

The Nike Barcelona 20-21 away shirt is set to be launched in June or July 2020.
