UEFA have announced that next week’s Champions League and Europa League fixtures have been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

This has caused Barcelona, who were due to play Napoli at the Camp Nou on March 18, to suspend all sporting activity at the club until Tuesday.

There are no scheduled fixtures for Quique Setien’s side after matches in LaLiga Santander were suspended for the next two weeks.

Barcelona did have a training session planned for Friday before the players got the weekend off and returned to work on Monday, but those plans have changed.

The Catalan club will reconvene on Tuesday, once UEFA have decided whether they will suspend their competitions indefinitely.

The future of Euro 2020 will also be decided in Tuesday’s UEFA meeting.
