Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong could miss the remainder of the season due to the calf injury.

The extent of his absence is yet unknown but Marca understands that he could miss the rest of the season due to the calf injury.

Frenkie de Jong missed the clash against Sevilla on Friday and his services were greatly missed by the Barcelona team as they lacked the cutting edge against the home team.

De Jong has only missed three games this season, the Dutch international is not the only player to miss the Sunday’s training session, Sergi Roberto and Ousmane Dembele missed the training as they prepare for the clash against Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday in their next game.
