BBNaija: “We were sleeping, waking up, crying” – Wanni X Handi share sad story of joblessness, homelessness

BBNaija housemates, Wanni X Handi, shared a teary story about how they were jobless, homeless, and struggled after finishing secondary school.

They revealed how difficult it was to find a job and the bullying they endured during that time.

In a lengthy statement during a task presentation in the Big Brother Naija house, the duo spoke about their life after completing secondary school in 2016 and moving to Lagos.

Upon arriving in Lagos, Wanni X Handi explained that they lived in a place far from their workplace.

Due to the distance, they had to wake up around 3 a.m. to prepare and walk to work, despite receiving only a small salary.

The housemates further shared that after losing that job, they applied for over 100 other jobs but were not accepted for any. At that point, they were jobless, homeless, and had no money.

They added that they eventually got a job for which they were not qualified, but despite their best efforts, they lost that job because their boss was not satisfied with their performance.

In the end, the housemates recounted that they finally found themselves working as DJs.

However, in the early stages, they faced bullying because they were girls and were shamed and accused.
