Following her eviction from the 2023 edition of Big Brother Naija All Stars, Ceec, who had secured the position of second runner-up, had an unexpected encounter with an unkind audience member who repeatedly referred to her as a ‘bitterleaf.’

As she made her way to the stage at the invitation of the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, this derogatory term was hurled at her, drawing her attention.

In response to the name-calling, Ceec turned around in an attempt to identify the source, but Ebuka intervened, holding her hand and ensuring she did not react to the provocation.
