Real Madrid will miss the services of Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos when the team face Inter Milan in the Champions League at San Siro on Wednesday.

Benzema hasn’t managed to recover from his muscle issues and trained alone at the Real Madrid training ground at the Valdebebas on Monday morning.

Ramos suffered an injury during the international break and against Germany in the Uefa Nations League but he is expected to be back in two weeks time.

Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane made surprise inclusion in the squad to travel to Italy as he included an academy player Hugo Duro in the team to face one of the Europen heavyweights.

The good news for Real Madrid is the return of Casemiro, the Brazilian midfielder was hit with Covid-19 but he has been cleared of all medical issues and he is fit again to compete against the Serie A team.

Casemiro was not included in the 1-1 draw against Villarreal as well as Benzema, Ramos, Eder Militao, Fede Valverde, Alvaro Odriozola and Luka Jovic.
