Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy read the social media comments mocking her Renaissance Tour dance moves and decided to kick up her training.
According to the New York Times’ review of the forthcoming “Renaissance” concert film, the “Crazy in Love” hitmaker was “dismayed” when her 11-year-old read the posts criticizing her “lackluster moves.”
“But it thrilled her mother that instead of quitting, she decided to put in the work and train even harder for future stops,” the outlet wrote Sunday.
Blue made her first appearance on the stage in May when her mother performed in Paris.
The preteen dazzled in all silver alongside her mom’s backup dancers as Beyoncé, 42, belted out “My Power.”
While Blue continued making appearances at future tour stops, the music superstar initially had no intention of letting her daughter perform at all, per the New York Times.
“She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no,” Beyoncé says in the film.
Although Blue made a positive change following the criticism, Queen Bey fans expressed their contempt for those who bad-mouthed the youngster online.
“F—k those haters, they could never! Blue Ivy is an absolute Queen!” one user tweeted, adding, “She was f—king amazing, her future is so bright!👑👏🏼💕.”
“May each and everyone who wrote hate comments about Blue Ivy’s performance never prosper,” a second added.
